Proof publishes this list and ranks its own product first. We explain how we chose every pick, and you can check each brand's lab results yourself.

The best broad-spectrum CBD brand is one that can show you, on a lab report, the two things "broad-spectrum" is supposed to mean: minor hemp cannabinoids such as CBG, CBN, and CBC are present, and THC is not detected. After that, it helps to know whether the brand's whole range is broad-spectrum, or whether its broad-spectrum oils sit next to full-spectrum products that contain THC.

We compared seven brands that sell broad-spectrum CBD and publish lab results. Proof comes first (every Proof product uses broad-spectrum extract), and we are specific about our testing limits. NuLeaf Naturals and R+R Medicinals follow, both with recent full-panel reports on the finished oil.

A reminder that broad-spectrum is a way of making a product, not a health benefit. CBD is not a treatment for any condition, and research is still limited. If you take medications, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using CBD.

Minor cannabinoids shown. Whether the COA or product page names the other cannabinoids in the extract.
Report scope and recency. Full contaminant panel on the finished product, and the report date.
Range focus. Whether the brand's range is all broad-spectrum or also includes full-spectrum products.
Price. The one-time, non-member price listed on the brand's site on 23 Sep 2026, for the flagship broad-spectrum oil.

1. Proof

Every Proof product uses broad-spectrum hemp extract: CBD Comfort Drops, CBD + CBN Sleepy Drops, the Ice Hot CBD Roll-On, and Pets CBD Drops. There is no full-spectrum line to mix up. All four finished-product COAs from SC Labs (Santa Cruz, California; ISO/IEC 17025), dated May 2025, report total THC not detected.

Comfort Drops, the flagship, are 1,000 mg of CBD in MCT coconut oil per 15 ml bottle, 30 doses of about 33 mg, listed at $35. The COA (batch HT0101-050325, 15 May 2025) shows 1,027 mg total CBD plus minor cannabinoids: CBN (1.470 mg per mL), CBC (1.332), CBDV (0.864), CBG (0.772), and CBL (0.236). Proof is women-owned and based in Sebastopol, in Sonoma County, California, making CBD products since 2016. Co-founder and CEO Sarah Miletich holds a BS in Organic Chemistry and formulates and quality-checks every batch. On testing scope: our finished-product COAs cover potency and microbials. The full contaminant panels are posted for the raw ingredients, the CBD distillate (KCA Laboratories, November 2025, THC not detected) and the CBN isolate (SC Labs, May 2025, all passing). Good fit if: you want a brand whose entire range is broad-spectrum, with THC not detected on every finished-product COA.

Not the best fit if: you want a full-spectrum option (we do not make one), more than one strength of each product, a wide product range (we make four products), or finished-product COAs newer than May 2025 that include contaminant panels on the bottle.

2. NuLeaf Naturals

NuLeaf, based in Denver, Colorado, has two broad-spectrum oils with finished-tincture COAs from Kaycha Labs (Denver; ISO 17025 accreditation #4331.01). Its Broad Spectrum CBD Oil report (lot 3207-J5a, 9 Nov 2025) and its Deep Rest oil report (lot 3203-B6a, 3 Apr 2026) both show pesticides, heavy metals, microbials, mycotoxins, and solvents passing, and total THC ND. Batch PDFs and a batch-ID search are on its lab reports page.

The Broad Spectrum CBD Oil is 1,800 mg in 30 mL, described as "USDA Certified Organic and THC Free," listed at $84 for non-members (a much lower member price is shown). The product page does not list minor cannabinoids individually. NuLeaf also sells a full-spectrum oil.

Good fit if: you want two broad-spectrum oils with full-panel COAs on the finished product.

Not the best fit if: you want minor cannabinoids named on the product page, or a range that is only broad-spectrum.

3. R+R Medicinals

R+R names three labs on its lab testing page: SC Labs, Botanacor Labs, and AgriScience Labs. The COA we read for its THC-free tincture (lot 7006B, SC Labs, issued 16 Jul 2026) passed pesticides, mycotoxins, residual solvents, heavy metals, and microbiology, and showed total THC not detected with 1,092.96 mg total CBD.

R+R is specific about the rest of the spectrum: about 33.33 mg of CBD plus roughly 5 mg of minor cannabinoids per 1 mL serving, named as CBC, CBG, CBT, CBD-A, CBE, CBDv, and CBN. The 1,000 mg, 1 fl oz bottle is listed at $58. R+R also sells full-spectrum tinctures, and a full-spectrum COA we read (lot 1873, 15 May 2025) showed 39.81 mg of total THC per unit, so check which line you are buying.

Good fit if: you want a recent full-panel COA, named labs, and a detailed minor-cannabinoid list.

Not the best fit if: you want a brand that does not also sell full-spectrum oils.

4. Joy Organics

Joy Organics, based in Fort Collins, Colorado, makes its broad-spectrum tincture from two ingredients, organic olive oil and organic broad-spectrum hemp extract, and it is USDA certified organic. The 900 mg size is listed at $49.95. COAs are listed by lot on its quality assurance page.

The COA we read (1,350 mg, lot 260326A, SC Labs, 25 Mar 2026) is a strong broad-spectrum example on paper: total THC not detected, with 168 mg of CBG and 3.84 mg of CBDV per unit. It also measured 1,939.65 mg of CBD against a 1,350 mg label, about 144% by our arithmetic. The finished-bottle reports cover potency and microbiology; the pesticide and solvent report in that file appears to cover the hemp extract lot. Joy also sells full-spectrum tinctures with THC.

Good fit if: you want organic certification and a COA showing a substantial CBG content.

Not the best fit if: you want measured CBD close to the label, or contaminant panels on the finished bottle.

5. cbdMD

cbdMD has one of the widest broad-spectrum ranges here: its tincture comes in 1,500, 3,000, 6,000, and 7,500 mg (the 1,500 mg bottle is listed at $64.99), and a broad-spectrum PM tincture adds melatonin and herbs. The hemp extract lists CBD, CBG, and CBN.

The brand says it tests all batches at an ISO-accredited lab and offers a five-digit batch lookup on its COA page; the lab is not named there, and we did not read a tincture COA for this list. The product page says "batch-tested to ensure no detectable THC" and also carries a warning that it "contains THC derived from hemp." cbdMD also sells full-spectrum tinctures.

Good fit if: you want high strengths and a batch lookup.

Not the best fit if: you want a named lab or consistent THC wording on the product page.

6. FOCL

FOCL, based in Thousand Oaks, California, sells a broad-spectrum sleep formula alongside full-spectrum drops. Good Night Broad Spectrum Sleep Drops list 33 mg of broad-spectrum hemp extract plus 6 mg of CBN per serving, listed at $49. FOCL links COAs from product pages rather than a lab-results hub.

The linked COA (Kaycha Labs, Davie, Florida; batch 32BD1E, 13 Apr 2024) passed pesticides, heavy metals, microbials, mycotoxins, and residual solvents, and measured 1,024.42 mg CBD per container. The page calls the drops "THC-free"; the COA reports 0.29 mg of total THC per container.

Good fit if: you want a broad-spectrum CBD and CBN formula with a full contaminant panel.

Not the best fit if: you want a recent COA, THC not detected, or a central lab-results page.

7. Medterra

Medterra, based in Irvine, California, states that "our Broad Spectrum products are THC-free." Its Enhanced Relief Broad Spectrum CBD Oil names CBG, CBN, CBC, and CBDV plus terpenes, with 1,000 mg over 30 servings, listed at $64.99. Medterra also sells isolate drops.

Its certificates of analysis page links a shared folder of COAs that we could not read, and the lab is not named. The page states that Medterra products are not tested for herbicides such as glyphosate.

Good fit if: you want a broad-spectrum oil that names several minor cannabinoids on the label.

Not the best fit if: you want a named lab, an easy-to-open COA, or glyphosate testing.

What is broad-spectrum CBD?

Hemp extract that keeps CBD and other hemp compounds, such as CBG, CBN, CBC, and terpenes, while THC is removed to below detectable levels. Full-spectrum keeps the THC; isolate is CBD alone. Our full-spectrum vs broad-spectrum guide covers the details.

How can I tell whether a product is really broad-spectrum?

Open the COA. You should see minor cannabinoids with measured amounts, and total THC reported as ND (not detected). If the report shows CBD only, it is closer to an isolate. If it shows measurable THC, it is not THC-free, whatever the label says.

Does broad-spectrum include terpenes?

Will Section 781 change broad-spectrum products?
