Meet the Founders
WE'RE THE PROOF
Hi! Julie and Sarah here!
We started Proof in Northern California to make plant medicine that’s clean, effective, and built on integrity.
When we met, we came from two different worlds. Julie is a licensed CA cannabis attorney (practicing since 2015) who Co-Chaired the Sonoma County Cannabis Advisory Group (2017–2019); Sarah holds a BS in Organic Chemistry (Evergreen State College), is pursuing an MS in Cosmetic Science (University of Cincinnati) with a thesis on topical cannabis absorption, and personally formulates and QCs every batch. What connected us was a shared belief that wellness should be honest, tested, and truly help people feel better.
We began small, blending and testing products ourselves, listening to what people needed, and earning trust one customer at a time. Ten years later, that same ethos still guides us! Every product we make is one we would give to our families, our friends, and our pets.
