Hi! Julie and Sarah here!

We started Proof in Northern California to make plant medicine that’s clean, effective, and built on integrity.

When we met, we came from two different worlds. Julie worked in cannabis law, focused on making plant medicine safe and accessible. Sarah came from chemistry and medicine, exploring how plants can help people heal. What connected us was a shared belief that wellness should be honest, tested, and truly help people feel better.

We began small, blending and testing products ourselves, listening to what people needed, and earning trust one customer at a time. Ten years later, that same ethos still guides us! Every product we make is one we would give to our families, our friends, and our pets.

Julie Mercer-Ingram, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder
I am an attorney and advocate by training, but my heart is in helping people feel confident about what they put in their bodies. I make sure everything we do at Proof meets the highest standards for safety, compliance, and transparency. My rule is simple: if I would not give it to my family, it does not go out to customers.

Sarah Miletich, Chief Operating Officer and co-founder
I have always been fascinated by the science of plants and how they can support healing. At Proof, I get to bring that curiosity to life every day by developing formulas, talking to customers, and making sure our products help people. The best part of my job is hearing how Proof helps people and their pets feel better!
